Tarot cards of hope

As recent victims of a crime, very good friends, family members and other well-wishers smothered us with good food, kind words, advice and expressions of hope. I know from experience it’s hard to inspire genuine hope at a time when it feels as if everything around is crashing and crumbling. Things are different and change isn’t coming, change is now. Like an anvil on Bugs Bunny cartoons, something has dropped on your head and smashed you into the ground. Will you lay there smushed or will you get up (still flattened), but ready to inflate and live again? How can your inner light shine again? How can you feel free, safe, joy, or just plain stable again?

Today I’d like to talk about Major Arcana cards that represent Hope.

The Star card is a guiding light. Having the Star show in a spread is positive whether right side up or inverted, but it makes no promises of time, just that hope and healing will come. It suggests clarity and insight, cups that will one day overflow. Inverted it means there will be worries, yet goods things will be.

The Sun card is the card of Glory. Promises of a day in the Sun, enlightenment, birth (possibly twins), success, truth and hope. As the Moon card speaks of things coming to us from the unconscious, the Sun card represents discoveries we make while awake and aware. Sometimes when cards are inverted they mean the opposite, but the Sun card inverted means to sit back and watch things unfold.

We, each of us, needs hope to survive. We need hope to make it through each day, sometimes through mere moments of said day. Whether you have hopes for a nose job, a new job, or just A job, hope is a necessity. How can your life path be altered to see these things come to pass? Perhaps you are sitting on the cusp of your dreams? Regardless, getting a reading from one of our awesome readers just might be the boost you need to see some good things come your way!

If you are looking for a great new deck or just interested in looking at nice tarot artwork, Tarot of the 78 Doors is a great deck to check out.

hi, forgot to say, that in my reading I also got the Sun card about future. I was told that is the best I can have, and predicted taht it was going to take about a year from now. Well…still one year to go!!! I ´ve also got the 9of hearts…and I´ve been warning twice ( by Jesse and Ciarra)-” becarefull with what you wish for”… I know what I have been whishing for for the last year!!!…, so I have decided to start wishing for abigger picture: a good and healthy relationship where I can really feel happy and complete. I think that makes better sense to me. So if ” M” is the one, with whom I ´ll fullfil my wishes, well, I think I will know that for sure, but if he is not the one with whom I could have the relationship that I deserve and I want to have….well ,that would be like a waist of “a good card”!!!!! ups :)

Hi Nunnu, I hope you and yopur family are doing better!!
I have a question: when you get the queen of hearts in a reading. I asked to a good tarot reader about what “M” feels and thinks about me and she got that card. what does this really mean?

    Nunu,
Sorry that you and your family were victims of crime and I hope you are all doing well.
Several months ago, without me ever having seen or known what symbols were on tarot cards, I had a dream and woke up feeling peaceful.
Once I got into calling CP, I was stunned when I saw the symbols as I recognized them from my dream…kind of weird…?
    There was a sun, a moon and a star…
Not sure what it meant…but I felt good when I awoke.
    Blessings,
    ST

Thank you psychic Nunu for your educational article. I always enjoy your input. I use only my guides, but am curious about the cards. My grandma read the cards, but they were the normal paying cards, not the Tarots. I know there is a history connecting the two together.
