I wanted to pose a few questions to psychics and customers who come from all walks of life and religious backgrounds. From my experience, I find psychics to be very helpful, compassionate, inspirational and spiritual–most seem to believe in God and that they have these gifts in order to help others. As with anything in this world, there is always a risk of false advisers and readers, but the majority, especially at CP.com, are very motivational.
What are your feelings on the fact that some people say psychic ability is not from God and point out various Biblical passages? Do you feel that there are contradictory passages about Mediumship and psychic ability in the Bible? Do other religions address psychic ability? Have you ever had a difficult argument arise from someone who did not believe the ability was a God-driven tool? Bloggers, what do you think?

Suppose that after an initial interpretation of stimulus information, the findings suggest that this interpretation is incorrect. Thus, events in which initial information has referred are in fact different from how they appeared at first. People revise certain assumptions that were made initially, and the result is probably a more accurate representation of reality. These perceptions related to the review processes in light of new information is similar comprehension processes that Suls (1972 – after Schmidt, 1994) has made the incongruous. Aptera (1982 – after Wyer & Collins, 1992) stated, however, that their existence is not enough to ask for humor. Three other factors are involved.
Hi Jesse,
LOL….I actually, as well, had a few people approach me and ask me the same thing….did I lose a sister ???? he he
Not too many people ” get” that bumper sticker, which, to me, makes it even funnier !!! ha ha
Blessed Be )O(…Gina Rose ext.9500
Dear Gina Rose,
LOL! That is too funny…and strange…because that is one of my OTHER BUMPER STICKERS! No kidding! (I actually have a total of 4…and they are good ones! If you ever check out Northern Sun, you will find a world of such yummies!)
In fact, I have a rather funny story about it: When I first put that one on (a couple of years ago) I was getting out of my van when this little old lady came up to me and, after reading the bumper sticker, she placed her hand on my arm and, “Oh, honey, are you the one who’s sister got hurt in the accident with the house?” I swear to you that is a true story! LOL! I just smiled and said, “Yes, ma’am..” and thanked her for her kindness. I wasn’t about to disrespect or risk humiliating an elder by telling her it was a joke that we Witches like to refer to!
Is that too hilarious or what? And what are the odds of you and I having the same one?? Hmmm…we have GOT to look into this one day!
Have a truly awesome day, my friend. I hope you find this response faster than I found yours!
With love and blessings,
Jesse 9027
That is wonderful!
THAT’S AWESOME! I feel in my heart that that is how a reading should be! I agree with Miss Krystal by taking heed to some suggestions. Sometime ago, Ms. Vee suggested that I read “the wisdom of Florence Shovel” and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I know I can be so optimistic that I seem unrealistic at times, but that is how I keep my faith. Everything will always workout even dark hours. The words faith, hope, and grace have extraordinary meanings and tend to shed light for me! (Smiles) Thanks!
Many Blessings to you.
Also, Limelight, I too, feel a super professional reader should empower you-
But it’s good to be open to tips and suggestions that would help you reach happiness or perhaps, even more happiness.
I always channel even before the call, and ask to show some good things coming up for the next caller (in other words, I am working on it before the actual call comes in). In all truth….I always try to inspire..
Miss Krystal
Miss Krystal:
That is so wonderful that you received a confirmation. Synergicity, I call it…

Hi Fran,
I understand now, what LimeLight meant…..
… and I agree with LimeLight.
A positive reading should leave one feeling empowered,… even if the news is not what one expected and empowered to make changes or set a different course of action.
A reading should never leave a client drained of all absolute hope for the future.
Hugs….Gina Rose ext.9500
ps…
Fran,I’m not weighing myself Monday….
…too much chocolate, too much rich, dark, yummy chocolate…hmmmmmm….YUM. Milky ways, Reeses cups, Snicker bars, Hershey bars…..yum.
( that was so wrong…he he he he )
I didn’t gain, but I didn’t lose any either.
Dear LimeLight,
Well now I can see why you called them negative experiences….it does make sense to me. I would have called them negative too.
I’m glad you chose to accept positive thoughts , rather than allowing negative thoughts to drag you down.
( smart move)!
When I have bad news to give client….My Guides always reach out ahead of the bad news to show them the ” silver lining ” in it and ultimately what comes after ” the storm “…..which is usually good.
I never give a client bad news and leave them hanging….bad news almost always ushers in a change , ultimately, for the better in the long run.
A good reading will empower the client, giving them knowledge, which, in turn, gives them strength. Knowledge is power.I always explain ” why “.
I’ve spent years in this field, reading and training psychics ….
What is my definition of a positive reading ????
My answer is that I try to bring credibility( thru accuracy ),and ethics ( thru honesty ), to all of my readings with the aid of my Guides.
I sprinkle it with compassion for the client, love of what I do, and a sense of humor.
LimeLight, I think you are on the right path …..staying present in the moment is very, very wise.
Thank You for your posting.
( You have very creative energy about you, by the way)
Blessed Be )O(….Gina Rose ext.9500
Limelight,
I am just thrilled to hear that. I would love to hear from you one day. And I agree with you, what Ron wrote was spectacular! Bravo!
Many thanks,
Miss Krystal
This has been again a great experience! I have enjoyed the topics of the blogs and responses over the past year. Unfortunately, my journey has come to a fork in the road.
Ms. Gina Rose I hope my previous response to your question is helpful. I also hope you find there was no puns against you are any other psychic’s (positive/negative readings) that goes for Ms. Jesse as well.
Thanks again Krystal for the awesome blogs. Many Blessings to you! You are blessed any many ways already.
Dear Jesse,
LOVE the bumper sticker saying….!!!!
( And it’s true too)
The bumper sticker on my truck is not as profound, but funny none the less
.. a play on words from the Wizard of Oz movie..and it states:
” Things just haven’t been the same since that house fell on my sister “.
Would love to read your two books….
Jesse, always gracious….You Rock!
Blessed Be )O(…Gina Rose ext.9500
Thanks Krystal and Ron for understanding that not every psychic reading is the same, although one may think every psychic should have the same principles. Thanks for your understanding.
Oh Gina, I’ve had psychics tell me I was going to have a horrible year, months of stress, hard times, etc. Those are not positive reading and I do not except those thoughts.
Even I get a reading that my life-long partner isn’t coming until another six months or so, I wouldn’t consider this a bad reading. Hah, he’s coming and that’s all that matter to me! Even if it’s not the time projected I know in my heart he’s coming anyway.
Until then I stay in the present moment and enjoy each day until it happens. Today has its own troubles to be concerned with. Although the holidays could sometimes make me wish the time was “now”, but it will happen whenever God see fit.
Gina Rose, what do you consider a negative and positive reading?
Hi Gina Rose!
I can’t answer your question for LimeLight, but I think maybe that when anyone is referring to a “positive” or “negative” reading, perhaps they’re just referring to how they did or did not connect with the psychic. Or perhaps a client is told one outcome by one psychic and a different outcome by another, and they become confused by that. I think that if a client’s vibration is very low, and they’re bringing lots of negative energy to the reading, that negativity is picked up on, hence the “negative” reading. Do you think that’s possible? Could that possibly affect a reading? Now I’m curious….
How’s everything going, my friend? It’s been getting cooler here, and that’s such a pleasant change! I’ll write more in customer roundtable so as to keep this blog free of non-essential stuff.
Big Hugs,
Fran
Hi Jesse!
I would love to read your books! Any way you can tell us the titles?
You are such a wonderful woman. You are lovely, wise, caring, and a great listener. I just had to send you a cheer!
Sending love your way,
Fran
I wish there was a way I could receive your books….???? An autograph would be nice, too.
“Dark side of the moon” and “The Wall”, by Pink F. are two cd’s I had to buy twice now….I wore them out.
Intereting. My grandmother is 100 years old, Libra with a cancer moon, Pluto in gemini! She is Jewish, she grew up in a time where that was sometimes, “an issue”
she told me to say, “Tell them you are an American.” Interesting…
Thanks.
….Thank you for the interesting angle. You must know something?
as you know, it states on my bio that I studied around the world and basically, I was studying different religions and philosophies…..Including rituals…
For what it is worth, now, thanks to Miss Jesse
So I dabbled in it (a lot of it not everything) as an experiment. I was brave, it was my early twenties….I am independent thinker. I saw people debate everyone, and it made me examine it all on an educational, abroad and very long study..
I had some questions….Basically, what I learned was it all has power. You can get answers from it all…..I did find this out, for myself. The people who joined me (the other students) were people who basically came from split religious households. I wonder how many readers on here came from split religious households? I think that can create questions and not wanting to belong to any group, or maybe find your own system….
I could never judge. I learned so much when was I was in mainland China. I learned old and ancient chinese secrets, and I also visited the Big Buddha in Kamakura, Japan. I wanted to learn. Now, presently, I want to go to Lourdes, France, for the same reasons and India and Israel. It is a passion. I admire it all….
Of course, I know it all has power. That is why I have my own system. What works best for me. What is going on, with me, spiritually, has nothing to do with my clients. I do totally believe in God, but it is my own relationship. This is my own soul purpose thing, that nobody would really be interested in. But I do believe in Karma, what comes around, goes around, and, I do believe in treating others just the way we would like to be treated.
As long as it is in love and light, not harming people or animals, I think that is wonderful.
Thanks.
Have a great day. Miss Krystal
Dear Miss Krystal,

You have always had the most brilliant things to write and I have enjoyed every one of them. This was another great one!
I suppose it is now time for me to throw in my 25 cents worth (inflation, you know!), so here it is:
I have written two published books on ancient religions (matriarchal) and have spent many years studying how spirituality became dominated by a patriarchal set of rules. Since the books average in excess of 320 pages each, I will spare our gentle readers the “meat” and go straight for the “pudding” (Pink Floyd fans will get that inference
To quote my bumper sticker: “Religion is for those who believe in hell. Spirituality is for those who have been there!”
I have always been amazed at “born again” folks who use the “old testament” as a basis for determining everything from people’s civil rights to who “god” loves best. The first “flaw” in this convoluted thinking is that each one of those “gentiles” are to be put to death according to that same group of writings. And that’s just for starters! If you really want to take on the beginning book of the “old testament”, you will also have to acknowledge that the first “human” was a woman named Lillith. No kidding! Just ask any orthdox Rabbi or read an original version of the Torah or the Talmud.
As Lewis Black so beautifully put it when he was describing why he felt so many of the religious “not-so-right” folks were picking and choosing their way through the laws in the Old Testament, “It’s easy to understand why you are so confused about these writings. It’s NOT YOUR BOOK!” I believe most Rabbis would agree with that
But if these folks want to proceed with “suffer a Witch not to live, etc…”, then they should realize that the only difference between those who were “blessed” by god giving them visions and others who would be killed by experiencing similar visions was simply which side of the page you stood on. If you were of the group who wrote the bible, you were “in”. Everyone else was “out”. Doesn’t seem quite fair, does it?
History isn’t the only thing written by the “winners”.
My grandmother was a beautiful old “Hedge Witch” and always told me, “If anyone ever asks, just say you’re baptist…that makes them happy and they go away!” LOL!
And so ends my rants for the night, kiddies!
Love and blessings to us all,
Jesse 9027
Dear Gina Rose,
I have only one word to comment on that one: AMEN! LOL!!!!
You are too precious!
Love and blessings,
Jesse 9027
Hi LimeLight,
I’m always interested in a clients perspective….and I’m very curious….
What, to you, constitutes
a ” positive ” reading ????
Is it, perhaps, when the psychic agrees with your vision of the future as you see it or wish it ???
Or is it rather positive encouragement ???
You said you would “only adhere to positive readings”…….so my question to you is this: How do you define a positive reading from a negative reading ?????
I do not understand…please explain.
Blessed Be )O(…Gina Rose ext.9500
Hi LimeLight,
The job of a psychic, any psychic, is to tell the truth though….and only the truth.
It is the Karmic responsibility of any psychic to give the good news AND the bad news. It’s also the ethical thing to do.
Blessed Be )O(…Gina Rose ext.9500
Thanks for the feedback Krystal! Yes, each encounter with one psychic is usually different from the next, but I would only adhere to positive readings. I find that negative readings can really be hard to deal with on the psyche, if you’re not spiritually strong. Ron also had a good idea, which I may just use if I decided to have a reading in future. You guys are really, sincere about answering concerns. That’s why I love the blog!
Thanks Ron! That’s great advice!
HI TO ALL,
Ok…. so lets just say that CP has the best psychics out there….the heck with religious beliefs, political beliefs…..
We’ll read for anybody with a beating PULSE, no matter what your problems, we are here to help !!!! LOL
AND…our mediums will read on anybody WITHOUT a beating pulse !!!!!
Hugs To All…..Gina Rose ext.9500
PS….( I think I need to back off the Halloween candy…I’m getting silly from too much CHOCOLATE! )
God exists within every creature that He has created; God speaks to us through our intuition. That is why it is important to be still and know before starting a reading. We need to tap into that silence that permeates our being and that helps us access information that we seek. The more I use and TRUST my intuition, the stronger it becomes. Imagine if God left us to our own devices alone, mainly our minds, what kind of a despairing hell we would live in. God dwells within us as that light that informs us at every moment of the Truth. We just need to stop and listen.
I have always been a spiritual believer in a higher power, God, or the universal love that resonates in all of us. But also have a love for everyone’s religious belief system.

Hello Limelight-
I am sorry that you had an issue. However, in anything in life, whether it be at the office, your neighbor, someone who waits on you or anything, we just wont jive with everyone.
I think there are some responses on here that just possibly, you could find a better fit for yourself.
If you ever feel the need, I think I could help you and try to stay within your desired boundaries. I do not belong to any group, as I have my own relationship with God. I believe God is in our hearts, but what is in my mind is objective. I do keep it separate. I do not use my own beliefs that work best for me, on others. Facts are facts, visions are visions, has nothing to do with what our spirituality is. Yet, I know my spirituality makes me a more fair and honest person.
I have to admit, however, I have met wonderful hearts and souls that have been of many different faiths. There is good and bad in everything. That is why we should never judge.
ut with anything in life, no matter where we go, who will wait on us, we will encounter people that we really do not connect well with. Please keep that in mind. I would not let one “difficult” connection ruin this wonderful service for you. And that in my opinion is just logical.
Wishing you peace and hope,
Miss Krystal
This topic is an important one. I was born with these gifts into an Italian Catholic family. I went to 12 yrs of Catholic School for education, 1 year studying Judiasm and 6 yrs of study in a Spiritualist Church. I have been asked many times “do you believe in God” as if one were required to deny the existence of God in order to use your gifts.I have even been told that doing what I do is evil. I have to laugh at that one. There is more “evil” in other things than in anything metaphysical. I do not believe in “evil” just consider it a lower vibration. In a world that is crying out for help more and more people are realizing the need to some Spiritual Guidance other than from organized religion. If you look there are many metaphysical references in the Bible. We are all born with intutition and some may never use it and other do. I remember when the term “Spirit” was used in my studies, coming from the Catholic upbringing I had to say “Spirit” God until I felt secure enough in saying “Spirit” knowing they were one and the same. The times are changing and more and more people openly admit to having had at least one or more readings with a Psychic. Like there are very Spiritual Priest, Ministers and Rabbis, there are also those who need to remember what they were taught. The same exist in the world of Metaphysics.

A few months ago, I came into conflict with my psychic advice and living in the present moment. I know the bible states: Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God (Leviticus 19:31), but the bible has many prophets.
Well, I have not called a psychic in months, but I still enjoy the blogs. It was a ‘personal’ decision for me to stop calling, but I do not think mediums or psychics are evil. Every psychic I spoke to December/January said the exact same thing about my love life and career and that was amazing. Unfortunately, none of it has come to past, which has been disappointing. I still nurture the good readings with expectations that it is bound to happen one day, but I turn to God more often now.
Hi…
I was being humorous…. but cantankerous means I can be stubborn and very onery…LOL….
Seems the older I get …I’m much more apt to stand my ground now…than before.
I do become more outspoken with age….BUT..becoming a GrandMother really opened me up somewhat in speaking my mind.
It seemed to define my independent nature and took it to a whole new level…..but old age does that too !!!! LOL….
Yes….we are both very independent spirits and free-thinkers.
Have a great weekend !!!!
Blessed Be )O(…Gina Rose ext.9500
Hi Randall,
Yes…..we don’t like being told what to do or herded into a ” group “….very independent people.
but truth be told….personally speaking…I’m cantakerous because of old age !!!!!! LOL
Blessed Be )O(…Gina Rose ext.9500
I want you to please know that what you just wrote was a confirmation for me.
I applaud your courage. Thank you.
I admire you. Hugs, Miss Krystal
St. Thomas Acquinas said “It is necessary for the salvation of man that certain truths be made known to him through divine revelation”.
There have been prophets throughout history and many are in the Bible. Everyone has different beliefs, and that is fine. But perhaps some people play into ‘fear’ of the unknown and what they cannot see.
A born again Christian once approached me and said that the devil disguises himself to be holy.
My response to her was that in the New Testament, John, Chapter 4, it says to test spirit. And that is what I do before each session with a client and before I go online with Ca.Psychics.
Also, I add a prayer of protection so that nothing negative can enter myself or my clients.
Hi Fran,
Thank You……
..but really, ( in a perfect world ), you shouldn’t have to thank me showing love and compassion….
In fact, nobody should have to thank anybody for showing love and compassion….
…as THAT , in itself, should be the daily ” norm” and way of life for everybody regardless of any religion, spiritual belief , or non believers….but …only in a perfect world I suppose.
Fran….you are a sweetie !!!!!
Don’t change a thing.
Individual is the key word here…..As we have the right to worship and believe what it is in our hearts and souls.
However, keep in mind here, we are discussing a subject that does have many connections to the
“Divine”-We all know, as readers, that things can change. We see it go into the extremes. For example, the cruel things that can happen to good people-hmmmm….Sad but true. We have all seen it. And perhaps some of these people were once big believers, and now, because of their shortcomings, they have lost faith. By contrast, we all know or, eventually, will witness an agnostic that could have a miracle-perhaps witness something of the divine, and become a believer! Therefore, this is a life progression thing as spirituality can change.
My mother was an agnostic. She was an agnostic until I was 18 years old. However, my father, made sure that me and my brothers were raised with a religious background. My mother embraced what my father wanted, until one day, honest to God, she was touched by an angel. After that, she became an entirely different person.
I watched as a little girl, my mother argue with missionaries who would come to our front door and boy, she was pretty good! Until she became that person. In other words, she is now telling people about her miracle, her experience and how her faith changed. She also became psychic and has healing abilities in her hands.
My point here, is using my mother, as an example, these are things that can change. Remember this is a life path, and what we find, on the way, can make us more spiritual or, we can completely detach from it. It’s a mystery.
You just never know when it comes to spirituality.
Our experiences can speak to our soul-People have had experiences in life that have changed their souls-for the more Holy or, in the direction of becoming more secular. That is why we are so lucky to live in a country where we are allowed to have our own beliefs and path.
Nobody should ever put down someone’s beliefs and experiences. Nor should anyone force their views upon anyone.
I think this is an area, however, where you can apply the, “Never say never.”
I think as long as everyone wants Peace, period, that is the most important thing. We are all on our own unique path, and spirituality is definitely one of them.
Miss Krystal
Hi Randall,
Very, very well said….
I’ve always said religion is just a “vehicle” to the source….some people drive cadillacs, some drive jeeps, some drive volkswagon beetles….
…you know, I was wondering what your thoughts were on this since I already knew you were a Shaman priest.
I was raised Catholic as well and attended Catholic grade school and high school…but as a hereditary Wiccan….those Wiccan beliefs, even as a child, just seemed to ring true for me.
But if it were not for this blog, nobody would ever know what my chosen path of spirituality was….it never comes up in any of my readings….it has nothing whatsoever to do with my abilities or my readings.
(((( In Fact, the only reason I even mentioned Wicca to begin with in this blog awhile back was because Jacqueline and I were amazed at how much it resembled her earth-based Native American Indian spiritual beliefs)))).
Blessed Be )O(….Gina Rose ext.9500
It’s never happened yet, so I’m not sure what I would do if someone tried to say my psychic abilities were “evil.”
I’d probably smile sweetly and walk away from the conversation.
My psychic abilities have definitely given me a deep spirituality, but they have also opened me up to so much that I don’t feel my beliefs can ever fit neatly into any established religion. So I consider myself to be a devout agnostic. I like to say, “I worship the unknown.” I go to “church” multiple times a day.
Thanks, Fran. I agree with you.
By the way, Congrats on the Yankees!
Miss Krystal
Hi there maryanne-
I completely agree with you. I think we all agree on “Peace”– that is for sure.
I am so pleased to be a part of such an open minded team! And spiritual! We are all taking the high road!
thanks,
Miss Krystal
To All,
Here is what I find the very best part of all of the posts to this blog. Regardless of each of our individual opinions on religion, what kind of religion, spirituality, where our gifts come from, etc., we all have expressed our belief in using our gifts to the fullest and in the most positive manner for all of our clients, no matter what their individual opinions or practices are.
That’s strong, positive, enlightened and powerful.

Hi Gina Rose,
Your soul shines through when you read for me, and I appreciate you and all the others who can read without judgment. I agree with you that just because a person is religious, that doesn’t make them any kinder than those who choose to be spiritual. I’ve experienced that myself. It’s disheartening when someone can go to church one day a week and stab you in the back every other day of that week.
You are a true light in this world, shining your love on those of us in need. Thank you.
Hugs,
Fran
Dear Miss Krystal,
I was raised in a religious household. I’m sure you’ve read some of the stories I’ve shared with Phillip about my Catholic school years. It took me a long time to overcome the guilt of not going to church anymore, but I’ve learned to accept what it is that I believe in my heart. I choose to live a spiritual life rather than a religious one. I’ve reached an age where I’m grateful for having an open mind. I’m willing to learn and grow, and to accept that there is more “out there” than just what the church wanted me to know. I think that no matter who you are, someone blessed with psychic ability or someone who calls for advice, the thing to remember is to walk in the light. To be a kind and caring person, to give of yourself when you can, and to remember that we’re basically all the same on the inside.
Love & Blessings to you,
Fran

In the last 43 years of doing psychic readings and teaching this subject…..
I can give several examples where religion interfered with a ” psychic ” reading…..
About 8 years ago… when a young female called me and started out the reading by begging
me ” not to hang up on her because she was a stripper “…she stated that she was having a hard time finding a psychic who would even read for her as stripping in a night club went “against their religious beliefs”…one psychic even told her she would burn in hell…..and then hung up on her.
And I’ve read for many, MANY, MANY gay people and couples thru the years and was told by them that other psychics would not ” read ” them because living a gay lifestyle was “against their religious beliefs”.
Oh, and here is another…many pagan/wiccans, AND ALSO people who practice a non-traditional religions have called me because other psychics will not read for them as it ” goes against their religious belief as they are worshipping the man in the red suit with the pitchfork and horn”.
Also, a native American Asakan Indian who was told to go elsewhere for a reading because they were practicing an earth-based religion.
AND many clients have told me, in past years, they called me for a straight up psychic reading…..not a sermon. They laughed as they said if they wanted a sermon, they would go to a church and hear a sermon for free. They tried other psychics who merely wanted to preach to them their religious viewpoints.
…..ridiculous, sad, but all true.
All examples of why religion and psychic readings do not mix.
I teach my students that religion can, sometimes, make you a better person…..but to keep religion away from your psychic readings.
To stay objective, non judgemental and open should be the the goal when any psychic is doing a reading.
Blessed Be )O(…Gina Rose ext.9500
Namaste’,

This is such a powerful topic. I’ve always felt my connection with the creator, and that my gifts are a direct result of my open-ness to all things. As an astrologer, my readings are science, but my spirituality makes me who I am
Have you all seen this yet? Its so cool and kinda runs along the same lines

Hi Jen!
I would be honored! Just let me know what you have in mind.
Hi Gina Rose!
I’m sure you are familiar with this quote. I wanted to post it here. It so speaks to the power of the right brain and the creative intelligence in there waiting for us to turn the key and unlock it:
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there will ever be to know and understand.”
