This is going to be an interesting month. December begins with Uranus turning direct on the 1st while Mars and Mercury turn retrograde. A Blue Moon and a Lunar Eclipse add to the mix! A Lunar Eclipse occurs on the last day of the year. This is a ‘Blue Moon’ Lunar Eclipse. The extremely rare blessing of a Blue Moon to welcome the New Year will take place on December 31, 2009 at 2:14pm at 10° Cancer.
A Blue Moon is the infrequent second Full Moon in a single month. Usually 2.72 years will elapse between Blue Moons, thus the phrase “Once in a Blue Moon.” This powerful eclipse will issue in a six-month period when we will learn to embrace emotionally the responsibility of being more sensitive to the feelings of others – especially family members. Think twice before severing longtime connections too quickly. Take time to think about what is precious to you.
This months’ first Full Moon is on December 2 at 10° Gemini 15 at 2:30am. The second Full Moon occurs (as previously discussed) on New Year’s Eve. A month with two Full Moons gives you the energy to start a project and see it through to completion, all within that month.
This months’ New Moon occurs on the 16th at 7:02am at 24° Sagittarius 40′. The New Moon offers a fresh change to take charge of our lives by using the magic present in the atmosphere to manifest our dreams.

Watch the weather especially be affected by this Lunar ( MOON) Eclipse in cancer on New Year Eve…..we are currently in the 3 WEEK before and after ” shadow” period of this lunar eclipse….
…a very powerful time period….as eclipses are 1000 times more powerful than any full moon, or even full blue moon.( The typical full moon can be felt up to 3 days before and after its apex).
Most weather events, hurricanes, BLIZZARDS, etc…. will be much more intense in the shadow period of an eclipse, especially lunar, unlike solar. The current east coast blizzard is typical weather within the 3 week shadow period of a lunar eclipse.
This will be a very emotional teary-eyed lunar eclipse, on New Years Eve no less, as it is in the watery sign of Cancer…..important to stay grounded and focused now.

Well, Miss Krystal it seems we have a few things in common. I also have Sun and Mercury in Leo in my 11th house. I am a little older than you so my Jupiter is in Capricorn (4th house).
Since you have a Leo Sun in the 11th, by the looks of your picture, I would venture to say that you have a Libra Ascendant (as do I!).
