While I personally rarely comment on other adult's decisions, regardless of what they are, I must admit that the rush for publicity and fame from women who had have sex with someone famous is very confusing to me. The person they had sex with is famous-they're not.
Certainly, in this economy, print newspapers are suffering very constricted revenues, so, as they say, "Sex sells".
Don't you imagine her parents are proud?

Hmmmm.....I just hope she doesn't sterotype men. And of course, I am a bit worried she thinks all men are the same, because they are not!!

To quote Don Henley:"This year notoriety got all confused with fame and the devil is downhearted cause there's nothing left for him to claim!"
I don't know when we started being a culture that thinks a 24 year old hooker has information that should be revered, but after all, the same guy who owns Fox, Direct TV and the Wall Street Journal also owns the New York Post: Rupurt Murdoch: the man who (almost single handed) put this country into more turmoil, fear and debt now wants us to take advice from a hooker who is barely over the legal age!
None for me!

It's sad to think that the public is so enamored of fame/notoriety that someone like Dupre can get a column from a respected newspaper. Better that she write a book - no doubt in the making - about her past and reveal what she learned from it.

I'm kind of on the fence on this....
I can see how she might (?) be able to give some type of advice,... kind of like a car thief telling you how to make your car theftproof....LOL.
But, I agree, STRONGLY, with NOT rewarding bad, or unhealthy emotional behavior....
...I think a qualified sex/relationship therapist would have been a more appropriate choice for the column. ( You know, somebody who actually studied and WORKED hard, to gain a degree , not to mention success, as a certified sex/relationship therapist thru the appropriate schooling ).
Blessed Be )O(.....Gina Rose ext.9500

Hi….<br

There are a myriad of angles you can argue this:
1) While there are certain perspectives where one could say it's a person's choice to sell one's body, but then you have to question her values - she values money to a degree that no amount of self awareness could really counter. (in essence, she is philosophically AND was literally, a whore).
2) How on earth is she going to give someone relationship advice when her perspective is so jarringly different from anyone else's? Is she catering to the hooker/call-girl population in her column? I don't see how "lonelygirl34" is going to benefit from the advice of, "Never kiss the john on the lips."
I don't mean to be a negative nancy, and if she can in fact help people, more power to her. I just see this as a bad idea, and an awful message to send to young women everywhere "Just be a hooker for a while and YOU TOO can have a column in a major publication!"
I'll pass on that!

I can’t see how any individual could get life-altering advice from an individual not only so young, but who has made such poor life-decisions to date. There are a myriad of angles you can argue this:<br
