Genetic Test Tells Future?

San Diego company Pathway Genomics has just released an over-the-counter genetics test, which you will be able to use to collect a small amount of your saliva and then mail it back to Pathway’s lab for testing. This is a completely new way to get medical advice. You’ll be able to buy one for between $20-30 from most of the 7,500 Walgreens stores across the U.S. The test will not only be able to tell you whether or not you’re genetically predisposed to conditions like Alzheimer’s, breast cancer and diabetes, but also what genetic disorders your future children may have (and whether or not they will be obese, or go blind.) How’s that for fortune telling?

Based on an article from ABC World News, the new tests promise to open a new period in how medical testing is done. Instead of going to see a doctor, in this case, the users will be sending their data directly to Pathway Genomics, who will not only conduct the tests, but also offer a range of solutions and products to assist with the conditions through their website.

This raises a question that psychics already know well … “Do I really want to know?” Nobody wants to hear bad news. Some even try to avoid it based on the premise that they don’t want to focus on negatives. But as with psychic information, if you know about bad news early, you can catch it in time to turn it into a positive. If one knows they might be genetically predisposed to certain conditions, they can take preventative measures ahead of time. They can begin eating right, exercising more, and learning positive behaviors and habits to keep themselves healthy, and focus more on maintaining good health. Once you see the danger, you can run in the opposite direction!

Such genetic tests sound like a great way to do the same thing a good psychic reading can do. They’re less about telling the future, and more about finding out how you can change your behavior in the now in order to create the best possible future for yourself. Psychic advice, like medical advice, is often more about the present than the future. The future hasn’t happened yet, after all, and it’s up to us to make the right decisions in order to get to the future that we want – a journey that doctors and psychics alike can help you along.

How can you begin planning for your best possible future today?
