Stop Waiting for Love

Put Yourself First

It’s like John Lennon sang, “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” If you are constantly trying to plan your romantic future, you are going to be pretty disappointed because love doesn’t operate in an Excel spreadsheet. And if your search for your soulmate takes up most of your free time, I’ve got some advice for you (and you may not want to hear it): Leave love alone and it will find you!

What does this mean? It means you need to stop obsessing about your love life (or lack thereof) and start focusing on the things that you are most passionate about and just dive in, head first. Have you always wanted to go scuba diving? Get certified. Want to take a writing class? Go for it. Want to learn to cook? Take a class or two.

The most important thing in life is to learn to love yourself first. The only way to do this is to take care of your own needs. Are you eating right? Exercising properly? Sleeping enough? If you answered “no” to any of these questions, I ask you this: What are you waiting for? It’s time to put yourself first. Are you giving someone the best of everything but getting nothing in return? It’s time to put yourself first and you can learn to do this with tips from Psychic Venus ext. 9463.

Here’s how. When you wake up in the morning, exhale deeply. Stretch. Wash your face. Say this mantra: “I welcome this new day,” and really mean it. There will be many challenges that will present themselves to you. How will you handle them? Hold your head up high as you start your routine. Honor your commitment to yourself.

When I was little, I remember watching my mom boil water for pasta. I was sitting at the table and I can vividly remember watching the pot. It was so frustrating because every time I asked “Is my spaghetti ready?” it seemed like hours had passed. My mother brought out a puzzle. I can still remember being mid-puzzle piece when I completely forgot about my dinner. It wasn’t that I wasn’t hungry, but I was busy and I was focusing my attention on something I could control, and not something that I couldn’t. The pasta tasted every bit as delicious, and my mother was able to prepare it without my constant whining and questioning. Smart move, Mom.

Don’t wait for your “pasta.” You will just get frustrated. It’s time that you live your life and I mean, really live it. Don’t ask “What if?” and doubt your decisions. Trust your higher intuitive nature. Be cognizant of your surroundings. Embrace positive energy. Start wearing more yellow because it is the color of happiness and optimism. Make sure to fill your day with fresh air and laughter.

“Learning to love yourself is learning to trust yourself.” – Psychic Rowan ext. 5423

Take a walk on the beach. Sing along to your favorite song on the radio. Go bowling. When you find your inner calm and satisfaction, love will come knocking. Do you know why it will come? It’s not because you bought a new shirt or changed your hairstyle. It’s because you will exude confidence. This is the kind of thing that can only come from being true to yourself and loving yourself in spite of your faults. No one is perfect, so stop punishing yourself for not meeting some unrealistic expectation. Learn to love yourself for who you are, warts and all, with tips from Psychic Anastasia ext. 5610.
