Go for the Gold This Year

I’ve been thinking a lot about how people can stay true to themselves, while continuing to have faith in who they are and their beliefs and values, as well as continuing to encourage others through our world’s changing, sometimes turbulent times. I think it’s in our attitude.

Let’s say you want to start a business, buy a house or do something adventurous that requires taking a chance. Do you talk yourself out of it before you’ve even started with a “the economy isn’t so good, so I better not,” or “maybe I need to wait until…” Until what? I think that’s what this year is about. It’s about taking a chance, it’s about being true to who you are and who you are meant to be, and really allowing your authentic self to shine through and to just go for it! Make 2012 Better Than 2011!

A new year means a new start, regardless of what we may have endured or experienced in the one that just ended. I think the beauty about being the master of it all is that each and every day we are given a brand new canvas, a clean slate to start all over if we so wish. We are never stuck or limited by the universe, only by our own choices.

So, given that all the doomsday crackers are going on about how we will all die this year, we might as well go out with a bang and live life to the fullest. December 21, 2012: The Ocean God/dess Quaoar and Southern California

Did you know that Southern California has its own androgynous Creator God/dess? Its name is Quaoar, and it came from the Native American Tongva/Gabrielino Tribe. Not only that, but Quaoar is also the name of a dwarf planet, and is tracked by astrologers who have been reading Quaoar’s meaning. Sedna, the Goddess of the Seas, is also a dwarf planet—and, like Pluto and Quaoar, is so very potent. They are, after all, planets orbiting our Sun and newly discovered with much to reveal, like the other planets that are the foundation of astrologers’ work.
