Say Hello to Mr. Sensitive and Mrs. Not-So-Much

What Can Men and Women Learn From Each Other?

One of the most unnatural traits for any man is machismo. If you locked a group of guys into a room with a couple of rocks and sticks, they’d build a fire and barbecue the smallest guy in there. If you put the same items into a room with a group of women, they’d assort the rocks into chairs and have a group therapy session. It is true that men withhold sensitivity, while a good portion of women are drowning in it. However, the solution is really quite simple. I’d like you two to meet your new best friends, Mr. Sensitive and Mrs. Not-So-Much.

The Dribbling Creek and Gushing River

Society dictates for men to withhold emotions, and women to gush them. The result is a man who feels isolated and cut off from support, even though he is surrounded by people who love him. Withholding his emotions is choosing to retreat to a cave, where the entire world is left to rest on his shoulders. This singular focus leaves a man lonely, tired, and cynical. Women, tend to overreact to emotional situations when a man isn’t as tactful as he could be. Having these feelings rise to the surface, only to bounce off Mr. Practical’s patented anti-emotion shield; she is left feeling anxious and depressed. Read the rest of this entry »

Should You Trust Your Intuition?

To Trust My Gut, Or to Not Trust My Gut?

We are so often told in this lifetime that if we want to succeed we should “always go with our gut,” or “trust our gut instincts,” but sometimes we do that and it just turns out all wrong. What does trusting your gut even mean, anyway?!

Our energetic bodies have seven major chakras. A chakra is just basically an information center that will hold all of your information about a specific area of your life. For example, the first chakra, located at the base of the spine, holds all of your information about survival, and what it takes to survive in a body. Your seventh chakra, at the crown of your head, is your access point for your highest spiritual information, and is your place to really just be still and know. So where does your gut come into all of this? Read the rest of this entry »

Your Mars Retrograde Forecast

By LJ Innes

Where You’ll Stand When Mars Goes Direct

Mars has been retrograde in Virgo since the end of January, promoting thought before action. When it goes direct on April 13, you can slowly begin to put those ideas into action. Are you ready for a new job, or perhaps a new romance? Let’s see what happens for you when Mars goes direct.

Aries: While retrograde, Mars, your Ruler, asks you not to initiate change in relationships. After Mars goes direct, things start advancing, but slowly. Take your time. Pretty soon things will go the way you wish.

Find Your Inner Voice of Truth

April 12, 2012 at 12:00 am
By Psychic Amanda ext. 5605

Listen to the Messages in Dreams

I remember having a very profound dream when I was about six years old. I was stuck in a log. No matter what I did, I just couldn’t get out. I began to scream for help. I soon noticed that the louder and harder I screamed, the bigger my body became, and that it was even more difficult to remove myself from the log. Suddenly, a voice inside of me spoke, saying “be still, be quiet, be at peace and pray.” I was too young to know the biblical saying, “Be still and know that I am God,” however, my six-year-old intelligence was telling me just that. In the dream I became still, and the stiller and more peaceful I was in the dream, the smaller my body became. Within a few seconds, I was small enough to crawl out of the hollowed log.

This dream has stayed with me throughout my life. I share my dream when I wish to teach that we all have this knowingness inside of us. It is there, ready for us to ask information of it and this internal knowingness has all the answers that we would ever need. Read the rest of this entry »

How to Tell if She Likes You

Destined to Become a Couple

Deciphering women’s flirtations, hints and behaviors is a bit like fumbling through a hazy maze full of pitfalls, traps, and various other dangers of the dating game. If you’re trying to decide whether or not to take things to the next level with her, there are some easily recognized signals that will point you in the right direction.

1. Facebook Frenzy

As the perfect platform for finding out all about someone, if she’s sent you a friend request, written on your wall, and comments frequently on your photos and updates, it’s safe to assume that she is interested in you. She wouldn’t laboriously sift through your posted messages and comment on them if she wasn’t hoping to get closer to you. If she consistently checks in, you know that she has gotten to know you even more through your profile’s contents, and given that information, has decided she wants to see more of you! Your Numerology Forecast for April 2012

April 11, 2012 at 12:00 am
By Debbie Keil-Leavitt

What Do the Numbers Have in Store for You?

Basic numerology is often the first step in learning for astrologers, Kabbalists and Tarot readers. This first step is easily available to you, and a fun way to notice your monthly patterns.

Finding your birth number is simply taking all the numbers of the date of your birth and adding them together. You then add those numbers together until you reach a number of 1-9. Example: 2-14-1988 is 2+1+4+1+9+8+8 = 24 (2 + 4) = 6, and you have the beauty and form of the service number “6.” Read the rest of this entry »

Don’t Put Your Man in a Box

April 11, 2012 at 12:00 am
By Alina Mikos

Underestimating People Never Works

There is an interesting ideology entertained by certain women regarding “training your man.” While the assumption is that since men are clueless about many of women’s wants and needs, they consequently need appropriate instruction. You can see how this can easily take a wrong turn, and how demeaning to a male it can be. (To be fair, men can have a similar outlook on their mates, but in either case, this mentality converts the relationship into a nasty game.) Placing many rules and expectations on your beau sets the foundation for an unhealthy relationship and can backfire big-time. Let’s look at a few ways we can trap our guy in this proverbial box.

Criticism Central

Critiquing your guy can diminish him and the integrity of your relationship. If mates feel like no matter what they do, they will be judged and found wanting, they will eventually stop trying and lose all respect in the relationship. Focus on appreciating your partner, as this attitude can easily motivate him to be a better person, instead of making him feel resentful about your constant judgment. Read the rest of this entry »
