When Astrology is Too Close to Home

Astrology Here in the West, astrology tends to be seen as more of an entertainment source, but in many countries the world over, astrology is a really, really big deal.

Take this recent example: A popular astrologer in Sri Lanka was arrested for making a prediction that popular President Rajapaksa (he recently ended the country's 26 year civil war) would be ousted this fall.

"The astrologer predicted that a planetary change on 8 October will be inauspicious for parliament and the government may not be able to contain rising living costs - a forecast which correspondents say has already been made by private economists...So convinced are Sri Lankan politicians over the accuracy of astrology that many have their own personal seers who decide the auspicious times to launch any new initiative."

Many of our psychics use astrology in their readings, I'd like to hear their take on this :D
