While you may know him as the original “King of Cool,” Aries heartthrob Steve McQueen got his big break only after the demise of legendary rebel James Dean. McQueen solidified his Hollywood stardom when he got his break in Dean’s then upcoming flick, Someone Up There Likes Me, starring Paul Newman, who replaced Dean after his untimely death.
Eerily similar in both their personal lives and their natal charts, McQueen and Dean were both Indiana-born racers who lived fast and died young (though Dean was considerably younger). The two shared an incredible four astrological placements — Saturn in Capricorn, Uranus in Aries, Neptune in Virgo, and Pluto in Cancer.
McQueen supported himself by winning motorcycle races on weekends, while struggling to break into acting, and Dean was known for racing cars before his death (in a car accident) in 1955. Explanation? Uranus in Aries will light that fire.
Born March 24, 1930, were he alive today, McQueen would be 80 years old.
